- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Rolls Royce PLC for the acquisition of the following items: four (4) Mass Moment Kits, P/N S3S18533000, two (2) units for the Navy, one (1) unit for FMS Spain and one (1) unit for FMS Italy; one (1) Grinding Fixture, P/N S3S92498000; one (1) Inspection Fixture, P/N S3S92499000; one (1) Grinding Fixture, P/N S3S92500000; one (1) Inspection Fixture, P/N S3S92501000; one (1) Grinding Fixture, P/N S3S92502000; one (1) Inspection Fixture, P/N S3S92503000; one (1) Grinding Fixture, P/N S3S92504000; and one (1) Inspection Fixture, P/N S3S92505000 for use with the AV-8B SE Program in support of the F402 engine. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
