Description

The work includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools, transportation, and management necessary for harvesting sawtimber and pulpwood and other incidental related work at Marine Corp Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. All merchantable timber products are to become the property of the Contractor and shall be removed from the limits of the Station. This is a Multiple Award, Firm Fixed Price, Services Contract. Two contracts will be awarded from this solicitation. Contractors may bid on all compartments, one compartment, or any combination of compartments they choose. Bid documents will be available on or about 5 July 2005. The bid opening date will be on or about 11 August 2005. Mr. Danny Marshburn will accompany prospective bidders to the site on 13 July 2005. Prospective bidders who wish to inspect the site should be at Building No. 12, Room 130, located on McHugh Boulevard at Marine Corp Base, Camp Lejeune, NC before 9:00 AM.
