Description

Pacific Crest Trail Restoration from Pinhead Saddle to Lemiti Meadows. Restoration work includes: reconstructing the trailbed, removing sloughs and berm, reshaping and refinishing backslopes, removing protruding rocks and roots, filling and compacting ruts and troughs, constructing waterbars and other drainage structures, constructing turnpike, cutting back and removing logs, stumps and encroaching brush, removing berms and outsloping trailbed, and refinishing the trail tread surface. Performance period is 105 calendar days. However, by law, work shall be suspended on October 15th and if necessary resume in the Springj of 2006...Solicitations available via FBO on July 14, 2005.
