Description
Work consists of providing all labor, equipment, material, transportation, quality control, supervision and services necessary to repair concrete roof slab at launch facility I-03. This project focuses on repair of the wearing slab and sealing and protection for cracks and joints. The entire area of the top of the roof is to be swept and cleaned of all loose materials. Soil and vegetation built up around the perimeter of the slab shall be removed. Mechanical means will be employed to remove loose concrete materials. Forms shall be prepared and placed around the perimeter of the roof. Belzona 4131 TX conditioner shall be applied to all concrete surfaces. Belzona 4131 Magma Screed shall be applied over the entire surface of the roof, filling in all spalls and degraded areas and providing a minimum 1/8" layer over the entire surface - positive drainage must be ensured. Aftr the 4131 product has cured a min;imum of 24 hours, Bellzlona 3121 MR-7 joint-covering "tape" shall be applied in the following means: where the two metal access hatches penetrate the roof surface, the MR-7 shall be applied in a manner providing not less than 1.5" adhesion width on the vertical metal "frame" and not less than 1.5" on the adjacent horizontal concrete surface at expansion joints and construction joints around the access hatches, the entry hatch, and the exhaust hatch and over identified structural cracks. A complelte Statement of Work will be issued with the award, including security, work schedule, etc. The Request for Quote will close on 15 July 2005, 2:00 PM (Local). The performance period will be thirty (30)days from award. Potential contractors must be currently registered with the Central Contractor Registry and ORCA, as well, to be eligible for award. The magnitude of the project is between $10,000. and $50,000. The NAICS: 237990.
