- Add the following to all sole source synopses for supply It is the Government’s belief that only Furuno USA and/or their authorized dealers/distributors/repair facilities can furnish the required parts and ensure the proper fit, form and function of all its components. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the above items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same in duplicate within 5 days of this announcement. However, other potential sources desiring to furnish other than Furuno USA parts are required to submit the following information: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics) or 2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. d in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offer(s) is being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG40-05-Q-20438. This combined synopsis constitutes a solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAIC) code is 334220, size 750 employees. This requirement is being solicited with the intent of issuing/negotiating a contract with Stearns Manufacturing Co., the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. Part NBR: RDP139/NT, Quantity 11 Each 2. 5840-01-519-0748, Antenna, Radar 24” (SINS) REPL #183083 1SG38-SINS MFG. NAME FURUNO USA INC., PART NBR: RBS-0071-057; Quantity 11 Each. Each Unit to be Individually Package in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1D Method 10. Each Unit to be Individually Marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129P. Bar Coding in accordance with ANSI/AIM BC 1 is required. NO SPECIFICATIONS DRAWINGS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. NO EQUAL OR ALTERNATE PART NUMBERS SHALL BE ACCEPTED. Packaging, Packing, Marking: Each item shall be individually packaged to provide physical and mechanical protection during shipment, long-term storage in an environmentally controlled warehouse, and subsequent shipment to the end user. Items and materials sensitive to electromagnetic fields shall be suitably protected. The internal packing material shall be sufficient to prevent damage during shipment, handling and storage. Preservation and protection shall be provided to prevent corrosion, deterioration or decay during warehouse storage for a period of one year. Each individual unit shall be marked with the vendor name, vendor’s part number item name and national stock number. Bar coding of the NSN in accordance with AIM BC is required. Delivery of all items shall be made within 60/90 days after receipt of order.
