Description
Mine Reclamation Construction Services - Reclamation of one (1) abandoned coal mine shaft in King County, Washington will involve construction of a polyurethane foam plug and a concrete cap to seal the top of the mine opening. No underground work is required. Construction will begin in late September 2005. Tiger Mountain Ruffner Mine Reclamation Project, Solicitation #IFB514016, estimated price range $30,000-$50,000. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is MANDATORY for bidders. Bids will not be opened from bidders who have not registered at and attend all of the site inspection pre-bid meeting. The pre-bid site meeting will be held August 2, 2005 at 10:00 AM (Pacific Time). The meeting will begin promptly at 10:00 AM (Pacific Time) in King County, Washington. Bidders will meet on Highway 18, approximately 4.5 miles south of I-90 at the parking lot for the Tiger Mountain Summit Entrance. See plan C-2 for map (included in the bid package). ONLY written requests for the Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be accepted. All requests must include the complete company name, address, phone, fax numbers and a point of contact. Telephone requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. All Government Contractors are required to register with the Central Contactor Registration (CCR) system. CCR is a single, government-wide system for storing contractor information. A vendor must be registered in the CCR in order to receive contracts and purchase orders from federal agencies. CCR is a self-service database.
