Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation for the development of Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) for the Bearing Installation Tool Set, P/N 123SME50748-1146 for the E-2 aircraft. The proposed effort is for PTD of Peculiar Support Equipment for which the Government does not own drawings or specification. Northrop Grumman Systems is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and as such holds the technical data rights. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See note 22.
