Description

The US Army Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (CE LCMC) intends to award a contract modification to contract DAAB07-98-C-A515 for up to 556 converters, consisting of a mix of Up Converters IAW NSN 5895-01-381-1056, Harris P/N CV-4251/G and Down Converters IAW NSN 5895-01-381-0944, Harris P/N CV-4250/G and up to 114 converter Radio Frequency (RF) modules consisting of a mix of Up RF Modules IAW NSN 5998-01-416-0470 and Down RF Modules IAW NSN 5998-01-416-0468 and all associate d testing and documentations. These quantities are for two additional option years at an estimated value of $16 million. Delivery will commence approximately 12 months after award at a rate of 20 per month for the Up Converters and Down Converters, for t he Up RF Modules and Down RF Modules delivery will commence approximately 12 months after award at a rate of 5 per month. This is a sole source acquisition with Harris Corporation, Melbourne, FL authorized under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. This announcement is for information only and not to be considered a request for an offer or proposal. See numbered note 22 and 26.
