Description
This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The office of NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service Northwest Region protected Resources Region located in Seattle, WA has a requirement for a contractor to provide services to Northwest Marine Mammal Health and Stranding Program. The purpose of proposed contract is to collect, compile and report on marine mammal strandings that occur in the Northwest Region in compliance with the Marine Mammal Health and Stranding Response Act. The goal is to enhance the quality and consistency of data collection, provide veterinary expertise for interpretation of investigative observations and findings of field responders and develop Regional Stranding Handbook for Network volunteers. Individual responding to this notice must possess a minimum graduate degree in Veterinary Medicine and must show the ability to provide this service. A firm-fixed price order will be issued with performance period of one year, start date estimated to be on or about Aug 8, 2005. A request for quotations providing detailed statement of work will be issued on or about July 25, 2005. For a copy of RFQ, please send your written request by fax to Maria Mendoza at (206)526-6025. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $50, 000.00. ****The Western Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as of October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vender is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov.
