Description
This is a notice of intention to issue a solicitation for the repair services of the following items, applicable to the AAR-47 Missile Warning System. Contract will include a basic period and two options. NSN Description 5865-01-495-3639EW Sensor (OSC) 5865-01-495-3646EW Processor (CP) 5865-01-495-3645EW Control Indicator (CI) 5821-01-496-2115EW Repeater (New) 4920-01-419-3264EW Flight Line Test Set (FLTS) 4920-01-419-3262EW System Test Set (STS) Delivery schedule: All repair deliveries shall start 60 days after ARO. The approximate solicitation issue date is 8 August 2005, with the approximate response date of 8 September 2005. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, ATK Missile Systems Co., 13133 34th Street, N., Clearwater, FL, 33762, CAGE code 06424, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. See Notes 22 & 26. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 30 days of the synopsis publication date. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Late responses will not be accepted.
