- Description
- NAICS Code: 541620 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Clean Air Markets Division (CAMD) in Washington, DC intends to award a Purchase Order to EPRI Solutions of Knoxville, TN under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purpose of this purchase order is to provide technical assistance and provision of a semi-continuous mercury (Hg) monitoring instrument for a demonstration project in India. Under this purchase order EPRI will provide a complete quick semi-continuous emissions monitor for Hg in New Delhi, India and provide hands-on training, on location, to representatives from India. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541620. NO SOLICITATIONS OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. It has been determined that EPRI is uniquely qualified to satisfy the Government's requirement as EPRI is the developer and sole operator of the sorbent trap sampling method for the measurement of total Hg specifically to be used in coal fired boilers. They are also the only source capable of providing training on its use. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received by the response date of this announcement may be considered. Responses to posting must be in writing and submitted to Denise Roberson, Contract Specialist at roberson.denise@epa.gov. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All questions should be directed to Denise Roberson, Contract Specialist via e-mail at roberson.denise@epa.gov.
