Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), has a requirement for animal hay and feed for the Animal Import/Export Center in Miami, Florida. A multi-year contract is anticipated. The effective date of the contract shall be October 1, 2005, or date of award, whichever is later. The annual requirements for feed and hay at the Animal Import/Export Center may vary; however, we estimate the following annual quantities: Timothy Hay -150,000 ? 400,000 lbs., Sweet Feed 100 - 15,000 ? 40,000 lbs., Alfalfa Hay - 1,000 ? 4,000 lbs., and Whole Oats - 15,000 ? 50,000 lbs. The solicitation, 043-M-APHIS-05, will be released at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about July 26, 2005 and will be a 100% small business set-aside; therefore, all responsible small businesses may submit an offer. The NAICS code is 424910 with a size standard of 100 employees. After release, one may download a copy of the solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov. NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT TO OFFERER?S REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE OFFERER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THIS WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR UPDATES.
