- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The project work site is the U.S. Coast Guard Communication Station Miami, 16001 SW 117 Avenue, Miami-Dade County, FL. Work consists of removing the existing Halon Agent fire suppression system and furnishing and installing a new multi-zone clean fire suppression agent (NEPA 2001 compliant and non ozone depleting) system and controls compatible with existing Siemens Control Panel in the Transmitter Station #1: communication rooms, generator room, Transmitter Station #2 and the Comm Station Generator Storage Building. Installation of a communications cable to the main control panel is required at the Comm Station Generator Storage Building (this building interior walls are covered in lead based paint). At Transmitter Station #3 remove Inergen-agent control panel and install new Inergen agent control panel/interface compatible with existing Siemens Control Panel. Abate five square feet of asbestos tile/mastic under existing Halon agent tanks in Transmitter Bldg #1. The estimated price range of the complete project is between $100,000.00 - $250,000.00. Performance time is 90 calendar days. The NAICS code is 238210, with a size standard of $12.0 million. This project is being considered for 100 percent HUBZone set-aside. Interested HUBZone businesses should indicate their interest to the Contracting Officer in writing as early as possible and should be received no later than 15 calendar days from the date of this notice. As a minimum, the following information is required: (a) a copy of the certificate issued by the SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone concern, (b) a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor, (c) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact and telephone numbers, and (d) provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project, to include both single and aggregate totals. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested HUBZone concern. Information should be faxed to 305/278-6696. If adequate interest is not received from HUBZone concerns by close of business 15 calendar days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside.
