Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, North Carolina, 27705 is in need of a contractor to completely prepare the site for building operations including demolition and removal of existing structure and furnishing all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation and qualified supervision to Replace Roofs. This project will replace the roofs in several areas which includes the complete removal of existing roofing, insulation, metal and bituminous flashing; and installation of new insulation, roofing, metal and bituminous flashing and associated miscellaneous work. All work is to be in compliance with all applicable codes and contract documents. Bidding material will be available on/about August 5, 2005. The official plan holders list can be printed from the web sit only. All prospective offerors and plan centers are encouraged to register as plan holders on the web site. Amendments/notice to the solicitation if any, will be posted to the web. The web will be the only method of distributing the solicitation. It is the offerors responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments/notices to the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. The cost range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. NAICS: 238160. Size Standard: $12.0.
