Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the acquisition of RF Radiation Monitors/Badges. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with ETS-Lindgren, Austin, TX, in accordance with Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, Single Source Selection. The radiation badge detects electromagnetic radiation from RF and microwave sources in the frequency range from 1 to 18 GHz and alerts the user to potentially hazardous fields. The FAA conducted a market survey and the results of this survey support our determination to solicit and negotiate with only one firm. This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a request for proposals.
