- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 20 is seeking a commercially available voice messaging system using Cisco Unity products for all facilities in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. This solicitation is proposed as 100% Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside under NAICS Code 541512; Size Standard of $21 million applies. The requirement shall be a commercial, fixed-price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)-type contract. This is a sources sought notice, with the intent of identifying all interested and capable SDVOSB. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, on company letterhead, whether they are small, disadvantaged, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, 8(a), and/ or woman owned small businesses. Responses to this sources sought notice are required to be faxed or mailed to the Contracting Officer listed in this announcement no later than 2:00 PM PST on 8/10/2005. Please mark all correspondence with "RFP 648-99-05." All questions related to this notice must be addressed in writing, fax (360) 905-1797 or e-mailed to the Contracting Officer. </P> This voice mail system will replace the existing voice messaging system, to include all hardware and software devices for our PBX telecommunications systems. This includes the replacement of the servers, hardware, software, backup utilities and associated interfaces. The required quantity and specifics for this telecommunications network will be specified in RFP 648-99-05. Contractor must have the entire voice messaging telecommunications network operational within an agreed time frame from receipt of the notice to proceed. The contractor shall provide all technical expertise, labor, resources, supervision and any other resources necessary to accomplish the tasks and provide the deliverables to the following locations:</P> Boise VA Medical Center, Boise, Idaho Roseburg VA Medical Center, Roseburg, Oregon Portland VA Medical Center, Portland, Oregon Vancouver VA Medical Center, Vancouver Washington Puget Sound VA Medical Center, Seattle, Washington Walla Walla VA Medical Center, Walla Walla, Washington Spokane VA Medical Center, Spokane, Washington The project will be broken down into three main phases: Assessment and Planning; Installation and Configuration; and Testing and Transition. The primary objective of this project is to replace aging VISN 20 voicemail systems with the Cisco Unity Voice Messaging System Platform.</P> This procurement is being conducted as a commercial procurement using FAR parts 12 and 15.
