Description: Item: Well Drilling System, Model LP-12. NSN: 3820-01-246-4276. Quantity: 11. This presolicitation notice is for an effort to RESET and SLEP (Service Life Extension Program) the Army Well Drilling System. The action for the SLEP effort will consist of taking 3 Army LP-12s and rebuild them to like new condition. The contractor will be required to keep as much commonality with the original LP-12s rather than modernizing the system. Additionally, this effort will RESET 8 LP-12s to an operable conditi on so that the LP-12s can be re-deployed to support the Global War on Terrorism.
