Description

Solicitation Notice: Provide materials and services necessary to Replace Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS), Canfield Hall (Bldg. 229), U. S. Coast Guard Training Center Yorktown, Virginia. The work includes, but is not limited to, replacing exterior insulation and finish system on Canfield Hall and incidental related work. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with Specification for Project K05011 and Drawings for Project K05011 (Sheets 1 through 8). All work shall be completed within 150 calendar days after Award. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR THE HISTORICALLY UNDERUTILIZED BUSINESS ZONE (HUBZONE) SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. (Status as a qualified HUBZone small business concern is determined by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and SBA will issue a certification to that affect in accordance with 13 CFR part 126) Offers that are not from qualified HUBZone small business concerns shall not be considered and shall be rejected. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLY BY INTERNET AT: http://www2.eps.gov/spg/DHS-DR/USCG/USCGFDCCA/postdatePrevDays_1.html Any prospective bidder interested in bidding on this solicitation must REGISTER at this web site and download plans and specifications. The solicitation will be available on the web site on August 26, 2005. The bid opening date for Solicitation No. HSCG47-05-B-3EFK18 is September 27, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. EDT in Norfolk, VA. The estimated construction cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the bid opening date.
