Description

Sole-Source BOS Announcement 261-0219-05 Classification: 66-Laboratory Equipment and Supplies NAICS: 421490 Pursuant to the authority cited in FAR Part 6.302-1 (a) and 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) the Sierra Pacific Network Consolidated Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source purchase with Hamilton Company for the following medical equipment to be located at VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VISN 21). This is a Microlab 4200 Robotic Pipetting System. This system includes: Microlab 4200 base instrument, single probe deck kit (portrait), Precision Syringe Drive Modules (PSD), Valves for two (2) Precision Drive Modules, Syringes for Precision Syringe Drive Modules, Special Double Tee Fitting and Tubings for Connecting two (2) Precision Drive Modules, Probe Adaptor/Interface, Probe and Tubing Kit, Peristaltic Pump Module, Wash Station for Probe and USB Communications Port, Vector Windows System Control Software, Power Cord, Operation Manual and Optional Control System 2 Control System for Operation of Microlab Robotic Pipetting System, Pentium-class PC for Windows 2000 operation with color monitor. The Government has determined that this is the only responsible source and no other equipment will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation package will be made available. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
