Description: All configurations of the Skidsteer Loader (SSL) should be the latest model of the standard product from the contractor. All features and components listed as standard equipment in the contractors published specification brochures and catalogs, or n ormally furnished to commercial customers as standard equipment, must be furnished. The Army anticipates a mix of three different types of SSL to be required: Type I - Skid Steer Loader, Diesel-engine-driven, 1500 lb. capacity, 128 inch reach, Helicopter Slingload capable. Type II - Skid Steer Loader, Diesel-engine-driven, 3000 lb. capacity, tracked, 128 inch reach, Helicopter Slingload capable. Type III - Skid Steer Loader, Diesel-engine-driven, 1500 lb. capacity, track-over-wheels, 128 inch reach, LV AD (Low Velocity Airdrop) capable. Responses are sought from manufacturers that can produce all three types.
