Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a firm-fixed supply contract for five pre-calibrated ultrasonic flowmeters including necessary spool pieces and couplings to replace four existing flowmeters and provide one new flowmeter for the San Juan 72-inch line; IAW FAR Part 12 and SUBPART 13.5. A totalizer for the flowmeters and a data logger shall be included. Three of the flowmeters are for 42-inch pipe, one is for a 72-inch pipe, and one is for an 18-inch pipe. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334513 and the related small business size standard in number of employees (not to exceed) is 500. This is an unrestricted requirement and all offers from responsible concerns will be considered. FAR Clause 52.219-4 "Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns" applies to this requirement. Solicitation 05SP201069 will be posted at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 17, 2005. The estimated date for receipt of proposals is September 16, 2005. Details concerning the site visit and how to register will be included in the solicitation. The projected date for the site visit is August 24, 2005 at 0800 A.M. The solicitation and drawings must be downloaded at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed. To register: click on the solicitation number and then select the "Vendor Interest" tab taking the following steps: 1) click on the Vendor Interest Tab; 2) enter DUNS number; and 3) enter Password or Tax Identification Number. Also, Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as required by FAR 4.1102 applies to this requirement. In addition, FAR 4.1200 Annual Representations and Certifications, Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) apply to this requirement. Prospective contractors must be registered prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR and ORCA database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
