- The following is a description clarification due to text conversion. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting for the purchase of Acorn Heavy Duty Wire Partition # 135 for its facility in Fort Worth, TX. This will be a combined pre-solicitation / synopsis. No written request for quotation will be issued. This solicitation will be made electronically at FedBizOpps.gov. The lot shall include: Partition Panels: 5 ft wide x 8ft. high panels-Quantity 5; 3 ft wide x 8ft high-Quantity 2; 2ft-6in wide x 8ft high- Quantity 2; Extension Partition Panels 2ft high x 5ft wide-Quantity 21; 2ft high x 4ft-3in wide-Quantity 2; 2ft high x 4 ft wide-Quantity 9; 2 ft high x 3ft wide-Quantity 4; 2ft high x 2ft-6in wide-Quantity 3; 2ft high x 1ft-6in wide-Quantity 2; 2ft high x 1ft wide-Quantity-1; Ceiling Panels: 2ft wide x 9ft-5in?long-Quantity 80; 2ft wide x 11 ft long- Quantity 2; 1ft-6in wide x 11ft long- Quantity 1; Doors: 3ft wide x 7ft high hinge door with transom- Quantity 1; 8ft wide x 8ft high slide door complete, with 1 24in x 15in high service window in each slide door-Quantity 2; Corner Angles: 8ft High corner angles (1 3/4in ) Quantity-3; 2ft high corner angle extensions ( 1 ? in ) Quantity-4. All necessary hardware and cylinder locks, less cylinders, for doors. Color: Safety Blue electrostatic finish. The Simple Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. A sketch of the room layout can be downloaded from the Federal Business Opportunities web site at FedBizOpps.gov. Delivery terms are FOB Destination to the Fort Worth, Texas facility. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The award shall be made on the basis of best value. All interested parties are required to submit a written quotation for agency consideration. Quotations shall include the RFQ# 05-0642, proposed unit prices, proposed extended prices, any prompt payment discount terms, company name with point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number, and size status ( i.e. small business, small disadvantaged business, woman owned business, HUBZone, etc ) Quotations are due on August 15, 2005 by 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. Firms may fax their quotations to 202-874-2200 or e-mail their responses to Donald.Baron@Bep.Treas.gov. Quotations may also be mailed to the BEP Office of Procurement, Attn Donald Baron, Room 705, 14?th and C Sts. SW, Washington DC 20228-0001. Telephone quotations will not be honored. All responsible sources may submit an offer upon receipt of the solicitation, which shall be considered by the agency.
