Description

This requirement is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared and submitted in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. You must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. The Offeror Representations and Certifications, FAR Provision 52.212-3, must be completed with the vendor's quote. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside. The Request for Quotations (RFQ) number is SSA-RFQ-05-1723. The associated NAICS code is 541330 and associated size standard is $4.0 million. The Social Security Administration requires 2 Cutler Hammer-Eaton Power Circuit Breakers, Catalog #: 8702C32G01, Model #: SPB 100 (brand name only, no "or equals"), The required options for operations are: (A quantity of one (1) each per breaker of the following): 3 poles, 480 volts, 3000 amps, drawout, through door, through the door standard; AC electric operation; auxiliary switch 4A-4B; 120 VAC shunt trip; plug, 2000 amps; digitrip RMS-510 (53) LS and padlockable push to open. 2 Cutler Hammer-Eaton Power Circuit Breakers, Catalog #: 8702C31G01, Model #: SPB 65 (brand name only, no "or equals"). The required options for operations are: (A quantity of one (1) each per breaker of the following): 3 door standard; AC electric operation; auxiliary switch 4A-4B; 120 VAC shunt trip; plug, 2000 amps; digitrip RMS-510 (53) LS and padlockable push to open. Delivery of all items shall be made on an F.O.B. Destination basis only to the Social Security Administration, Attn: Receiving Clerk, 6201 Security Blvd., Baltimore, MD 21235-6201. This requirement shall be a firm-fixed price purchase order. Quotes shall address all requirements in this combined synopsis/solicitation and failure to address a specification/requirement shall result in a quote that is ineligible for award. Quotes shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106-2, Evaluation of Quotations of Offerors. Award shall be based on the technically acceptable, lowest aggregate (all 4 items) priced quote. Therefore, one (1) award only will be made in the aggregate (all 4 items). All interested vendors shall submit a quote and completed representations and certifications by no later than 3:00 p.m., local prevailing time on Monday, August 15, 2005. You shall submit your quote along with your completed representations and certifications by fax to Stephen Slaughter, Contracting Officer on (410) 966-9310. Please also include your DUNS #, TIN, business class, whether or not you accept the Government's purchase card, if you do not accept the Government's purchase card, will you accept a written purchase order and what are you discount terms, the number of calendar days only after the receipt of the order for complete delivery and the warranty terms. For identification purposes only, the Government's purchase order # is SS00-05-50291. The Government's tax exempt # is 526004813. FAR Provision 52.212-3, FAR Clause 52.212-4 and FAR Clause 52.212-5 are all not attached to this transmission.
