- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA4417-05-Q-7059 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-05, Effective 27 Jul 2005 & Class Deviation 2005-o0001. This is a 100% set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 335313 with a size standard of 750; the SIC code was 3613. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts, shipping, and all other items necessary to provide the following items: Line Item 0001: Avatron trailer mounted load bank model K580. Load bank must be capable of delivering 1000 to 1250 KW loads to generator sets and have quick disconnects installed for all wiring. Trailer should have the following: Dual Axle ? 7000 GPW, overall width not to exceed 93 inches, electric brakes with break away switch and battery, 1 front tongue jack, 2 rear stabilizer jacks, 3 inch I.D. adjustable lunette eye, DOT and ICC road legal, trailer will be complete with mating vehicle connectors. APPROXIMATE OVERALL SIZE: 78inches W x 85inches H x 180inches L. Trailer should include two manual load cable reels, with each reel capable of storing approximately 1250 feet of 4/0 cable. The reel will be installed on the trailer. Or Equal. Qty 1 each. FOB: Destination for delivery to Hurlburt Field Air Force Base. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition and will remain in full force in any resultant award: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items. It is amended to read: Offeror shall submit signed and dated offer to 16 CONS/LGCB, Attn: A1C Justin Keeney, 350 Tully St, Hurlburt Field FL 32544-5810 by 23 August 20005 at or before 3 pm local time. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form and marked with solicitation number FA4417-05-Q-7059.
