Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a firm fixed price modification to contract N00019-05-D-0020 to Lockheed Martin Corporation. This modification will provide Laser Guided Training Round (LGTR) Performance Enhancements under an Engineering Change Proposal (ECP). (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY) Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: Lockheed Martin was recently awarded a competitive Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for the production of LGTR?s. Lockheed Martin is the only qualified source to meet the requirements. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the effort mentioned above.
