- The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Silicon Graphics, Inc., 2750 Blue Water Road, Eagan, MN, 55121 for the purchase of the following: Quantity and Description for Mach One CPU: 1 OpenGL Performer 3.2 for 64-bit Linux, incl. CDROMs, manuals and 1 RT License; 1 Silicon Graphics Prism Base, includes 4xAGP8X GFX pipes, supports 4xCPUs and DVD. No rack; 6 1.5GHz w/4.0MB L3 cache Itanium2 processor; 3 2GB DIMM set (4 x 512MB), 166MHz; 1 80GB 7200RPM SATA Disk; 1 SGI ProPack v3 for Linux ? Includes base OS (SGI Advanced Linux Environment 3); 3 Destination Kit; 1 IO-10 BASE I/O CARD; 1 Version 3.4.4 for Prism systems, 1 pipe server, float license. Multiple licenses add for any # of pipes; 3 2U rackmount kit for 3rd party racks; 1 Global Services warranty card, system registration and Services Reference Guide for systems; 1 CD-ROM Update Media requirement- For Support Only; 1 Warranty Upgrade 1Y; 1 Intel C++ Compiler Single User License; 1 Intel Fortran Compiler Single User License; 1 Intel VTune for Windows Single User License; 1 Intel VTune for Linux Single User License; 1 Intel Performance Primitives for Media Applications Single User License; 1 Mach One Program Prism Deskside 6p4g Credit; Quantity and Description for PCIX Card: 2 PCIX card reads DVI input to sys memory. For VAN support on Onyx 3/4, use OpenGL Vizserver 3.3+, for Prism, use v3.5+. Silicon Graphics, Inc. is the sole manufacturer and distributor for this system due the use of proprietary products, technology, and configurations. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received (quote with product specifications) will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS code is 334112. This procurement shall be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
