Description

W912CM-05-T-0322, Amendment 0002 1. The purpose of this amendment is to clarify some points raised concerning the description/specification for the wardrobes, as follows: a) Solid red oak & oak veneer plycore. The handles and edged banding are solid oak. The other components are oak veneer polycore/plywood. b) Finish. All wood components are to be finished in a Red Oak Varnish c) Veneer. A veneer is a very thin layer of wood that is glued onto the outer surfaces of the furniture piece. The veneer gives the furniture the grain and look of the furniture. A veneer can be used on any kind of surface. Oak Veneer Polycore means soli d oak veneer (very thin piece of oak needed to provide the grain and the look of the furniture), attached to a polycore/plywood surface. 2. There are no further changes to this solicitation.
