Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for a Stewardship Contracting in Kenai, Alaska. The purpose of this contract is to provide services for fuels reduction and promote forest health by reducing the fuels load. The project objective is to remove vegetative materials to protect and benefit other resources on 40 acres. This includes furnishing all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals necessary to complete the work required. Note: all merchantable material to be removed will be purchased from the Government and paid for at the total offer value. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business under NAICS 115310, size standard $6,000,000. A site visit has been scheduled for August 25, 2005 at 11:00a.m. Contractors must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be considered eligible for award.
