Description

NOTIFICATION OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT Notification Date: 22 AUGUST 2005 From: 55th Contracting Squadron 101 Washington Square Omaha, NE 68113 Attn: 2Lt Eric Sullivan Note: This is a NOTIFICATION OF INTENT (NOT A RFQ) The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for Analyst Notebook software to i2 Inc., 6551 LOISDALE CT # 600, Springfield, VA 22150-1820. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This acquisition is to obtain Analyst Notebook, iBase SSE, and iBase GIS Interface software and technical support (UCSRD #2005-0295). The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Analyst Notebook softare is necessary for USSTRATCOM to satisfy mission requirements. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because i2 Inc. is the only authorized distributor for Analyst Notebook, iBase SSE, and iBase GIS Interface software and technical support.
