Description

The National Science Foundation (NSF) Policy Office intends to issue a Competitive Firm-Fixed-Price contract for an Electronic Suite of NSF Policy Office Guidance Documents. These are NSF policy and procedural documents that relate to the Foundation's proposal and award process; and provide vital information for use by offerors and NSF awardees. These documents are all available electronically on the NSF website. To make these tools more accessible as well as to create a basic understanding of their function for minority-serving institutions and non-traditional NSF awardee organizations the Policy Office will create a CD-ROM, or ?electronic suite? of relevant guidance, documents, and available outreach. While the ultimate goal will be to produce materials that are representative of the totality of public interaction undertaken by the Office of Budget, Finance and Award Management, this first-generation project intends to focus specifically on NSF's major policy and procedural documents related to the proposal and award process. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government or as a Request for Proposal. No contract will be awarded resultant of this notice. Oral communications and facsimile responses are not authorized. All questions must be submitted electronically to the National Science Foundation, Attn: Jillian Pate, Contract Specialist, Division of Contracts and Complex Agreements, at jpate@nsf.gov. The anticipated contract start date will be the first part of November 2005. The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about September 2, 2005 with an anticipated offer due date on or about September 15, 2005.
