- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 423430. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-21. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract to procure MathCad Software and Annual Maintenance. The solicitation contains the following: 1) Perpetual, MathCad V12 Volume License Float ? qty 10; 2) Annual maintenance, Mathcad Level II Float-qty 10,period of performance: Date of award ? 1 year; 3)Perpetual, Mathcad V12 Volume License NL-qty 15; 4)Annual Maintenance, Mathcad Level II NL ?qty15,Period of performance: Date of award ? 1 year; 5)Mathcad 12 WW Media Set ? qty 1. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to offerors-Commercial Items,applies to this acquisition. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items,with the quote. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is technically acceptable with the lowest price. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing and must reference the solicitation number. All quotes must be received in this office by 12:00 p.m. EST on September 1, 2005, addressed to the Attention of Ms. Patricia Goree and reference the solicitation number.
