Description

This is a notice of intent to negotiate and issue a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Key Corporate Capital Inc., DBA Key Federal Finance, A Division of Key Corporate Capital Inc., 1000 South McCaslin Boulevard, Superior, CO 80027-9456 to continue leasing four (4) Heidelberg Quickmaster, Direct Image Pro Offset Presses, Model 46-4, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. This notice is not a request for offers. The contractor identified is the only known source for the subject requirement to be able to provide the present presses and continue the effort without interruption of service. The period of performance is 1 September 2005 through 31 August 2006. Continuing this requirement with the present vendor will allow streamlined deployed elements to digitally integrate with the fixed printing facility at Fort Bragg, NC. The current presses have been in use for the past two years and continuing to lease the present printers will support the US Army Special Operations Command concept of world class support by assuring the PSYOP printing capability between our CONUS and OCONUS units is maintained to assure full, timely and quality print support. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Responses are due no later than 30 August 2005, 12:00 PM EST. Interested organizations may submit information for consideration of their capabilities and qualifications to Valaida J.
