- Requirement Specifications updated: Requirement is for track, deck, carriages, end panels, any other needed devices, and installation of a mechanical assisted high density storage system for museum artifacts using existing museum-quality artifact sto rage cabinets. There are a total of 49 existing storage cabinets; 40 cabinets measure 58 W X 32 D x 73 H and 9 cabinets measure 36 W x 18 D x 78 H. It is expected that end panels, or other design techniques, will be needed to insure uniform height of the finished bank of cabinets. The artifact storage room measures 37ft x 54ft, 1998 SF. Special installation requirements (location of the system relative to existing room utilities, fire suppression system, etc.) can be provided by Museum Staff or onsite i nspection by the vendor. Track rails to be steel and carriages must be able to hold at least 400 lbs. Vendor will be responsible for installation
