- NAICS Code: 335312 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is RFQ-RT-05-00373 and the solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-24. The associated North Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 335312 and the size business size standard is 1,000 employees. Full and open competition procedures will be utilized. A firm, fixed price purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures is anticipated to result from the award of this solicitation. This procurement for the removal & disposal of existing generator and to purchase and deliver a new 750 KW diesel generator, enclosure and tank. Vendor much supply : One (1) new 750KW diesel generator with the following accessories: Unit mounted radiator; Batteries, racks & cables; Battery charger; Electronic control panel w/full safety shutdowns; Electronic governor; 1200AMP circuit breaker; Weather protective enclosure; Critical grade silencer; 1250 dual wall UL listed base tank w/alarms . Statement of Work: (1) Remove & dispose of existing generator & enclosure; (2) Remove & dispose of existing fuel tank & lines; (3) Deliver & unload new generator, enclosure & tank; (4) Furnish material and labor to install unit to existing automatic transfer switch (5) Furnish & install diesel fuel; (6) Provide testing and on site instruction on operation of complete system; (7) Provide all necessary permits, safety equipment and record as required for project. The Government intends to award a single purchase order to responsible contractor whose quotation represents the best overall best value to the Government. Quotations must include sufficient material (such as narrative technical specifications, drawings, photos, brochures, demo disks, videos, etc.) to permit the government to determine that the proposed instrument will meet the requirements in the Statement of work. Any specific variances from specification shall be addressed by the vendor with respect to how the vendor's proposal provides alternative equivalence. The Government reserves the right to require additional pricing information if necessary to determine that the proposed price is reasonable. The following FAR provisions shall apply to this solicitation: 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. All contractors are to include with their offer a completed copy of provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. The following FAR clause applies to this acquisition: 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items.
