Description
Proposed commercial item requirement is to procure one 750KW Standby Generator (compatible w/a 300 KVA flyweel Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system) and one 300KVA battery free flywheel UPS system, as delineated in Clause C-302 in the solicitation, only on a firm fixed price type contract. The 750KW Generator and the 300KVA Flywheel UPS must contain Auto Transfer (Closed Transition) capability of the load from commercial power to UPS Power to Generator and back to commercial power. Proposals, which must include a narrative explaining how the offeror's product meets all requirements of the specification detail, must be returned to the Government NLT 14:00 EST, 14 September 2005 via email (jennifer.kelley@navy.mil) or fax (843-218-5963). In an effort to maintain uniform/standardized equipment interoperability with existing systems, the following prerequisites apply to this procurement: (1) All material must be in 'new' or 'un-used' condition never having been sold or leased to an end-user, (2) All material must be under full 'new equipment' manufacturer warranty, (3) All equipment must be delivered to Naval Surface Warfare Center - Carderock, Bldg. 143, 9500 MacArthur Blvd., W. Bethesda, MD, 20817 within 22-24 weeks ARO, (4) Contractor must be able to provide Original Equipment Manufacturer's Warranty and optional maintenance agreements, and (5) Contractor must be able to provide world-wide technical support, world-wide on-site service support, and world-wide availability of spare parts within 24 hours of notification from the Government. This requirement (N65236-05-R-0656) is a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 335312 and the size standard is 1000 employees.
