Description

The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, Fort McPherson, GA intends to solicit and negotiate on a Sole Source Basis with SCI Technology Inc for equipment to support JICO training programs in order to ensure full compatibility with JICO support eq uipment. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541511 and the size business standards is $21,000,000.00. This equipment provides a modular expandable approach to voice and data communications for command and control personnel. This system is digital an d functional configuration can be established or modified by crew station entries. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a Request for Competitive Quotat ions. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received (Quote with product specification) will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. SCI Technology, Inc is the only vendor capable of providing this required equipment in support of the JICO training programs. This equipment is unique because it enables software upgrades to be installed in the field through maintenance interface ports. Multiple nodes can be networked together to form one large system with up to 1024 simultaneous assets. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed act ion based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
