Description
The Bureau of Prisons is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community based outpatient substance abuse treatment services in Fayetteville, North Carolina located near the bus line in the vicinity of 952 Bragg Blvd., Fayetteville, North Carolina 28301 for the drug abuse treatment services for male and female Federal offenders (inmates) held under the authority of various United States Statutes. Performance period under this contract will be for a one year base period to begin on October 1, 2005 with four (4) one year option periods, with service ending (if all option years are renewed) on September 30, 2010. The services required for this contract include Line Item Number 1: Base Period, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year: Estimated Number of Inmates 23: (23) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units per 23 inmate = 276 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units per 23 inmates = 1,104 total units; (5) Mental Health Assessment and Report; Mental Health Counseling/Individual Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit) 20 units per 5 inmates = 100 total units; Medication Monitoring (1 unit per inmate = 5 total units. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated January 2004. The solicitation will be available on or after July 1, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration’s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about August 1, 2005. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by this Agency. The acquisition is set aside for total small business.
