Description

The 20th Contracting Squadron, Shaw AFB, SC intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Harris Corporation, Rochester, NY for the following items: 39 ea HF Manpack; part number 0N672486-02, 78 ea Multiband Manpack; part number 10513-1000-07, 1 ea 400W Transit case; part number AN/PRC-150(c), 1 ea Mini-Transit case adapter; part number RF-5800H, 1 ea 400W Antenna Coupler; part number RF-382A-15TM, 1 ea 400W HF Fast-Tune Automatic Antenna coupler; part number RF-382A-15, 1 ea coupler case; part number 10564-6043-01, 1 ea cable reel assembly; part number 10564-6044-01, 1 ea cable reel assembly; part number 10564-6044-02. Contractor must provide all items, and no partial shipments are authorized. The authority for this non-competitive award is 41 USC 253 (c)(1) as set forth in FAR 6.302-1. Interested concerns may identify their interest and submit a capability statement that demonstrates their ability to provide the required equipment. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available; therefore, requests for such documents will be considered invalid responses. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to FA4803-05-QA173 must be in writing. All questions should be directed to Andrew Berg at andrew.berg@shaw.af.mil. If no affirmative responses are received by 4:30 PM EST on 23 Sep 05, the Contracting Officer will proceed to issue a contract to Harris Corporation. The NAICS code is 334290.
