Description
Solicitation SP0750-05-R3952 is an unrestricted acquisition for NSN 2540-01-186-0969, Motor Assembly, Windshield Wiper, Two Speed, 24 Volt, DC in accordance with cage 19207 drawing # 12342501 for a quantity of 10,607 each, including a 50% option quantity (possible additional 5,303 each IF EXERCISED). NSN requires First Article Approval of 3 units in 45 days. NSN requires Origin Inspection and Acceptance and FOB Destination with production delivery of 180 days ADO. Destinations may include any DSCC stock sites. Quotations must be submitted in written form. The solicitation will be available on its issue date of December 1, 2005. Copies of the RFP are available at HTTP://DIBBS.DSCC.DLA.MIL/RFP after the issue date of 10/04/05. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT AN OFFER, WHICH SHALL BE CONSIDERED. See Numbered Note(s): 12 and 26. "Notice to All Contractors: In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01- 26 (Item I, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement will be appearing in solicitations in the near future. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instructions and requirements in solicitations and contract awards." Additional guidance will be provided as it becomes available.
