Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, Geography, IST, Reston, VA, 20192, intends to make award on a sole source basis to Millwrights, Inc. Forestville, MD to dissemble, remove and scrap printing and related equipment. The request includes the following; One 60 inch color press, one 60 inch copy camera, two Misomex machines, one plate processor, one scanner and miscellaneous cabinetry. Millwrights, Inc has provided satisfactory service in the past for similar requirements and is familiar with USGS specific requirements and the EPA. There is no written solicitation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about September 23, 2005, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238990. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No additional synopsis will be published. See Note 1.
