Description
The 89th Contracting Squadron, Andrews Air Force Base intends to negotiate a sole source contract with National Law Enforcement Telecommunications Systems, located at 2390 Camelback Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85016, for supplies and services required to access and dispatch law enforcement massages over a controlled access, self-authenticating network. The network provides immediate exchange of information in the area of criminal activities and related information with hard copy out put. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price service contract. This acquistion will be accomplished using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within seven (7) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in proposal preparation. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notices is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. Contractors submitting any proposal to the Government must have Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration database (CCR) at www.ccr2000.com. The 89th contracting intends to award a sole source contract (7) days after publication of this notice. This does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does in restrict the Government?s ultimate acquisition approach.
