- This acquisition is a proposed firm fixed price type requirements contract and is to be competed via full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238220, with a small business size standard of $12.0 million. The period of performance will be for a base period, 1 December 2005 through 30 November 2006, with four one-year options. The contractor shall provide personnel, management, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, transportation a nd any other items or services not Government furnished necessary to perform HVAC chemical water treatment services at Fort Hood, Texas. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quotations (RFQ), W91151-05-Q-0104, on or about 7 October 2005 with a tentative closing date of 28 October 2005. The RFQ will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, accessed via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn .gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. Offeror's pricing shall be submitted electronically. Contractors must be registered and current in the CCR database in order to utilize the on-line bidding capability on ASFI.
