Description

Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, MS is soliciting for finishing materials. This acquisition is 100% Set Aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System code 444190, small business size standard is 500 employees. FINISH MATERIAL SOW CONTRACT PERIOD OF 1 OCT 2005 THROUGH 30 SEP 2006 Material will be delivered to Building 900. Deliveries should be made within 5 days of order placement and will be on an as needed basis. Trucks will need capability of unloading themselves with forklift. Delivery times: 8:30 am to 11:00 am 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Description of items: Plywood, 4 'x 8'x 1/2", BC grade Estimated yearly requirement of 1300 pieces Molding, baseboard, 3 1/2" by 16' length, primed finish Estimated yearly requirement of 2200 pieces Lumber, lap siding, hardboard, 8"x 16'. Estimated yearly requirement of 1200 pieces. Shingles, 3 tab, 12" x 36", fiberglass, 27 per bundle. Estimated yearly requirement of 1500 bundles. Gypsum board, 1/2" thick by 4' wide by 8' long. Estimated yearly requirement of 3500 sheets Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by identifying themselves and giving written notification to the Contracting Officer within fifteen(15) calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis. All contractors that provide a quotation MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Register(CCR).
