Description

This pre-solicitation announcement is for RFP SP4400-05-R-0021, for disposal, transportation, and non-personal management services at DRMOs Offutt, NB/Riley, KS and surrounding locations. Pickup and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes at the above locations, includes PCBs, compressed gas cylinders, and non-personal management services. This reprocurement will be a firm-fixed price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract, solicited unrestricted to all offerors. Anticipation of issuance to begin on or around October 21, 2005 and closing on or around November 21, 2005. Please review the Statement of Work (SOW), Section C thoroughly for instructions on performance and requirements. The solicitation will be posted on the World Wide Web @ www.drms.dla.mil. Anticipation for this reprocurement will be awarded to a single potential offeror that initiates 'best value' to the Government. The contract will have an 18-month Base Period and two (2) 18-month Option Periods. Performance will also be requested by issuance of written delivery orders against the contract periods. Prospective contractors and subcontractors must be able to meet the Federal, State, and local ordinances and regulations governing the handling, disposal, and transporting of hazardous waste material and environmental protection and concerns.
