Description

This combined synopsis/solicitation is for the procurement of a Cabin Pressurization Test Set to perform maintenance on the T-38 aircraft. The Cabin Pressurization Test Set (Part Number: AF/M24T-3; NSN: 4920-01-0006-5238) must meet Military Specifications ?Mil-PRF-26139.? The government intends to award a purchase order as a Small Business Set-Aside to the low cost, technically acceptable vendor. This commercial commodity is to be procured for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This RFQ is being conducted as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect 2005-0001. THIS ACQUISITION IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The NAICS code 334419, size standard 500 employees, and the applicable FSC code 4920. This requirement consists of one line item. Quoted prices shall be delivered (F.O.B. Destination) prices. All quoted prices shall be effective for a minimum of 60 days. Offerors shall include their best possible delivery with their quotes. Solicitation Number N00019-05-R-0117 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). ALL QUOTES ARE DUE no later then 3:00pm (EST), WEDNESDAY, 12 OCTOBER 2005. There are no commitments by the Government to make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award.
