- The United States Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Acquisitions Management Section has a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, RFQ-AMS-0001-6, prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This will be an unrestricted acquisition. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) coded for the acquisition is 721110. The BOP is seeking a Full Service Hotel (Lodging) facility only in the Arlington or Grand Prairie, Texas area, to provide overnight accommodations and parking. Rates should be in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations. The following dates are being requested: (All sessions will require an estimated 30 rooms each) Class Title: Contract Administration Sessions: 11/13/2005 through 11/18/2005; 03/26/2006 through 03/31/2006; 08/20/2006 through 08/25/2006 Class Title: Procurement Systems Suite Sessions: 11/28/2005 through 12/01/2005; 02/27/2006 through 03/02/2006 Class Title: Intermediate Contracting Sessions: 06/18/2006 through 06/23/2006 The rooms shall be single occupancy sleeping rooms and compliant with the American with Disabilities Act providing adequate accommodations for individuals with mobility, sight and hearing disabilities or impairments in the sleeping rooms. The guests will pay their own personal expenses, i.e. room rental, telephone calls, room service, etc. For participants arriving before check-in, an area should be designated for luggage storage. All rooms will be awarded to one hotel for each class session. Guaranteed minimum number of class sessions for award is one, guaranteed maximum number of class sessions is six. Dates are anticipated and are subject to change with a 30 day notice. The Government reserves the right to make an award on any item for a quantity less than the quantity offered, at the unit cost or prices offered, unless the offeror specifies otherwise in the proposal. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards if, after considering the additional administrative costs, it is in the Government?s best interest to do so. Award will be based on lowest quote/acceptable offer and past performance.
