Description

The Contractor shall furnish all the labor, parts, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to backfill graves, raise, realign and clean upright marble headstones, as well as place and remove decorative flags at the Hampton National Cemetery, Hampton, VA. The contract performance period is one year with four (4) one-year options to extend the term of the contract. Subject to the availability of funds. This acquisition is 100 % set-aside for award to service disabled veterans own small businesses (SDVOSB). Offers or quotations from other than SDVOSB will not be considered and shall be rejected. Definition -As used in the solicitation: "Service - Disabled Veterans Owned Small Business" (1) Means a small business concern - (i) With not less than 51 percent of the stock which is owned by one or more service-disabled veterans; and (ii) The management and daily business operations of which are controlled by one or more service-disabled veterans or, in case of a veteran with permanent and severe disability, the spouse or permanent caregiver of such veteran. (2) Service-Disabled veteran means a veteran, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101 (2), with a disability that is service connected, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101 (16). The NAICS Code is 561730 and the size standard is $6 million. The solicitation will be available for downloading on or about October 11, 2005. All requests for printed copies of the solicitation must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer. No telephone requests will be accepted.
