- Description
- The purpose of this modification is to answer the following questions: Q. This particular unit has both an IP(H.323) and an ISDN PRI (H.320) communications interface port. When this unit is installed and connected to an ISDN telephone service, a CSU is required. Is the telephone service going to come with it's own CSU, or should we provide one? A. No CSU is required since we use BRI ISDN lines (not PRI ISDN). Q. Is the customer interested in just remote maintenance which includes telephone support, software updates, and replacement parts, or would the customer prefer an on-site maintenance service support plan that includes a Tandberg trained engineer on-site, the next day, to restore the system? A. Onsite, next day Tandberg engineer support service is not needed. We would require the remote support, software updates, replacement parts. Q. Are we required to integrate the VTC system with an external encryption device? A. No integration with external encryption device is required. Q. Is this VTC unit replacing an existing system? A. Not replacing existing VTC. Q. Will the unit be located close enough to the ISDN termination point to use the included cables? A. The included Cables on the unit are long enough to reach to reach the ISDN termination point.
