Description

Construction of Phase V of the Point Remove Wetland Reclamation and Irrigation Project located in Pope and Conway counties, Arkansas. Estimated quantities of major work are: Irrigation Pipeline - 10,420 FT; Water Control Structures - 466 FT; Channel Excavation - 3,300 CY; Clearing and Snagging - 22,600 FT; Concrete - 26 CY; Earth Fill, Compacted - 4,000 CY; Riprap - 100 Tons and various other items including mobilization, construction, surveys, quality control, pollution control and vegetation. All work shall be performed in accordance with the project drawings, plans and specifications. This acquisition is unrestricted. NAICS code for this acquisition is 237990. The project is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1 million. Small Disadvantaged, Veteran-Owned and Women-Owned Businesses are highly encouraged to participate. Anticipated issue date is on or about August 11, 2005. The solicitation will only be available through the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Instructions for downloading the solicitation are available at this website. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available.
