Description
The work includes construction of an approximately 23,380 square foot, two-story Army Reserve Center (ARC) and an adjacent Privately Owned Vehicle (POV) parking area. The ARC will be permanent construction with a masonry veneer, concrete masonry loa d bearing walls, reinforced concrete grade beams, drilled piers, steel columns, reinforced structural concrete floor slab, precast/prestressed concrete floor plank, steel beams, bar joists, steel roof deck, modified bitumen roof membrane, HVAC and electric al systems. Supporting facilities include site preparation, paving, landscaping, concrete walks and extension of utilities to serve the project. Furniture will be Government provided and Government installed. The ARC houses offices, classrooms, storage ar eas, toilets and an elevator. Meeting sustainable design goals is part of the work. There are no options. Proposals received in response to this solicitation will be evaluated for lowest price/technically acceptable to the Government in accordance with t he following criteria listed in descending order of importance: Prime Contractor Experience, Past Performance of Prime Contractor, and Price. All evaluation factors, other than cost or price, when combined, are equal to cost or price. The price range is $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00. Project documents will be available on/or about 20 October 2005 by compact disk and web only. Proposal due date is 21 November 2005 at 4:30 P.M. Louisville Local Time. Project specification files are Portable Document F ormat (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package. Minimum system requirements are: 486- based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater, 8 MB application RAM, 4 MB hard disk space, and compact disk drive. NOTE: This is a HUBZone Set-Aside Procurement. NAICS Code is 236220 ($28.5 Million). Award of this project is Subject to Availability of Funds.
